The Asian Student Union Club says they planned the event before a gunman killed six Asian women and two others at three Atlanta-area spas earlier this week.
Ardsley Mayor Nancy Kaboolian, state Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Westchester County Executive George Latimer were in attendance.
The Westchester County District Attorney's Office launched a multilingual hotline last week for people to report any hate crimes or biased incidents in the county. That number 914-995-TIPS.
