The AfroLatin@Project makes use of an online embedded digital recorder along with mobile technology, giving its members an easy way to engage and record their own narratives.
Founded in 2005 through an initial grant from the Ford Foundation, the Project has also addressed the problem of HIV/AIDS among Afro-Latin populations since 2006.
The Programming page gives readers easy access to information that is based on two signature events the Project conducts.
The unique Conversemos Afro initiative has already documented oral histories from nine Latin American and Caribbean countries.
